Description

Meet Kat Adams (RU'21), a senior at Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences who started the Baby-Friendly Space Club located on Cook Campus inside the INFH Building. She is the first student we are featuring on this podcast who is igniting change around campus through the creation of her organization. The Baby-Friendly Space offers a haven for students, faculty, and staff with babies to have a place for their families on campus for resources such as breastfeeding, pumping milk, and so much more. Kat shares with us the research she did that inspired the creation of this resource both in her microbiology lab as well as searching for similar resources for mothers at Rutgers around campus. If you'd like to learn more about the organization, check them out on GetInvolved. [https://rutgers.campuslabs.com/engage/organization/babyfriendlyspaceclub]
